FFA Labor Auction and Pancake Feed

On Monday, February 20th the Rock Hills FFA Chapter held their pancake feed, labor auction, and silent auction at the Mankato Community Center. The officers and a few parents cooked and served pancakes, hash browns, eggs, sausage, and bacon. This event was held in conjunction with National FFA Week (February 19th-25th).

The auctions were a great success with all kids being sold, Jada Eilert being sold for the most at $1,100. The auction was auctioned by Mat Becker and Neil Bouray. A few of the silent auction items included gift baskets, an FFA blanket, charcuterie boards, a rocking chair, and an angle grinder.

The FFA Officers wanted to give a huge thank you to anyone that helped make this possible with help and donations. We also would like to thank our sponsors for the continue support: Napa, The Volker Family, Sheila Lorence, Tricia Nelson, The Strand Family, Jerry and Carrol Hopken, Linda Strnad, The Cady Family, Orscheln's of Smith Center, LDI and John Deere of Smith Center, Wagner Family Farms, Rex and Sandy Oliver, Kiers, Jessica and Brynlee, Possibilities, Nick and Kelly Bunting, Rock Hills FFA Alumni, J and H Service, Nuthin' Fancy, M and M Cattle- AJ Naylor and Cody Murray, Grate Expectations, Ord Family Farms, Guaranty State Bank and Trust Company, Cliff and Glyennys Barnes, Country, Graphics LLC, Peggy Wilson, Mattie Volker- Rock Hills FFA Alumni, Brice Kussman-Rock Hills FFA Alumni, Ayers Ranch- Lance and Angie Ayers.
