We are all excited to begin another GREAT school year at Rock Hills Jr/Sr High School. This year promises to provide our students with great educational classroom opportunities as well as a variety of extra-curricular activities that are all sure to promote the development of the whole child towards becoming successful individuals in their lives. Below is some information that will hopefully assist in preparing you for the upcoming school year.

Enrollment Information
Enrollment will be held on July 27 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Rock Hills Jr/Sr High School
You should be receiving your enrollment packet during the week of July 12
Please bring all paperwork to enrollment filled out completely
If you have questions about any of the forms prior to enrollment please contact the Jr/Sr High School Office at 785-378-3126
What to expect on Enrollment Day
We will collect your paperwork from your enrollment packet
We will review your child’s class schedule for the upcoming school year
We will review any financial information or needs with you
Building tours will be available for students unfamiliar with the facility
School Physicals
School Physicals will be offered on Wednesday July 28 following the schedule listed below. These physicals are offered to all Rock Hills students that will be entering grades 6-12 and plan to participate in a Rock Hills Jr/Sr High School activity. Physicals are provided by the Jewell County Health Clinic and are free of charge courtesy of USD 107. Students must have their completed KSHSAA Physical Form with them at the time of the physical. You can stop by the Jr/Sr High School to pick up a blank physical form or go to www.kshsaa.org and click on the Sports Medicine and Safety tab followed by clicking on the link labeled "Physical Form"
8:00- 9:30 (11th and 12th grade)
9:30-11:00 (9th and 10th grade)
11:00-12:00 (8th grade)
12:00-12:30 (lunch)
12:30-2:00 (6th and 7th grade)
Back to School Information
The first day of School is Thursday August 12
Student’s will be allowed to begin entering the building at 7:40 a.m.
Class schedules with locker numbers and combinations will be distributed upon arrival.
All Junior High Students (grades 6-8) will report directly to their first period class
All High School Students (grades 9-12) will remain in the Commons upon arrival
Breakfast
Breakfast will be served in the commons from 7:50 – 8:05
Students who eat breakfast will eat in the Commons. Junior High students who eat breakfast will report to their first period class as soon as they finish breakfast.
School Supplies
All students were provided the opportunity to get school supplies for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school year at the beginning of last school year. All new students as well as incoming 6th graders will be provided with the opportunity to receive these supplies on the first day of school (August 12). The supply list includes (Two 2” Binders with dividers, 400 sheets of 3-hole punch note paper, 2 pencil bags, 20 pencils with pencil top erasers, 2 pink erasers, 2 yellow highlighters, 2 pink highlighters). These supplies are provided free of charge under direction of the USD 107 Board of Education.

August 9-12 Fall Sports Conditioning (Volleyball) 7:00-8:00 a.m.
August 9-12 Fall Sports Conditioning (Football) 7:15-8:00 p.m.
August 12 First Day of School
August 14 Back to School Athletic BBQ (for all Fall Sports participants)
August 16 First Day of Fall Sports Practices
August 26 Grizzly Pride Back to School Scrimmages and Player Introductions
