HS Marching Band to State Fair
The Rock Hills High school band marched at the State Fair on Wednesday, September 10. The band competed in the street marching and arena marching venues. They received a Superior rating in street marching. They performed Animal and Land of a Thousand Dances while marching down the street. They received an Excellent rating at the arena where they performed Smells Like Teen Spirit and Rock Hills Fight song. The entire competition was an hour long marching and playing at different sites around the fairgrounds for fair attendees.
