USD 107 is proposing a $10.635 million school bond to address critical needs in our schools. This bond will repair failing systems, improve safety, and create better learning spaces and career opportunities for our students.
Why Do We Need It?
- Jr./Sr. High School's heating and cooling system is 57 years old (well past its 30-40 year lifespan). It is failing.
- The Jr./Sr. High School is crowded and needs more classrooms, offices, and Tech & Trade space to meet student needs.
- Both the Elementary School and Jr./Sr. High School need upgraded safety and security.
What Will the Bond Do?
- Replace the failing HVAC system at Jr./Sr. High School, saving money over time.
- Add secure entries to both schools.
- Build a new Tech & Trades Center to prepare students for local jobs.
- Add new classrooms and offices, while renovating outdated, windowless classrooms for better learning.
