Beloit String Orchestra performs
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Beloit High school string orchestra performed for the Rock Hills Elementary students on Tuesday, March 24. The orchestra made up of double bass, cello, viola and violins performed "The National Anthem" and "How to Train your Dragon". Then orchestra members demonstrated each instrument as their instructor, Ms. Julia McMains, introduced and described each instrument. The students also had time for a question and answer period with the orchestra members. This performance was made possible by Title funds for Fine Arts and Stem classrooms.
