6th Grade Why Try
The 6th Graders spent yesterday racing each other and the timer. In the first activity they were challenged to write as many numbers (1-100) as they could before the next person rolled a 6 on the dice. The next activity challenged them to write their full name as many times as they could in 30 seconds. They did this both with their dominate and non-dominate hands. We did these activities to practice feeling pressure and figuring out how each of them handles under pressure situations and what the best ways to handle those situations are.
