Rock Hills Scholars Bowl Team Repeats 3rd Place Finish at State
The Rock Hills Scholars Bowl team of Jacob Underwood, Davin Coil, Hannah Simmelink, Arielle Jacobs, Allison Ost and Aaron Underwood placed third at the State Tournament on Saturday, February 12. The Grizzlies were second in their pool behind Spearville. The top three teams from each pool moved on to finals. The six teams that made it to finals competed in a round robin tournament. Rock Hills defeated Spearville, Oswego, and Goessel in finals. The Grizzlies lost to Cair Paravel and Hodgeman County in finals. The final results were Hodgeman County, 1st place, Cair Paravel, 2nd Place and Rock Hills 3rd place. The Grizzlies competed well all day, their losses were within a margin of a question or two.
