Student Council holds SAFE survey
Friday October 8th, the Rock Hills Student Council members held their first SAFE or Seatbelts Are For Everyone survey. During this survey, students take a count of the number of drivers and passengers arriving to the high school wearing their seatbelts. The survey also includes collecting data about distracted drivers. The results for the first survey show 75% of drivers were wearing their seat belts, 65% of passengers wearing their seatbelts, and 0% of drivers were distracted! SAFE is used in cooperation with the Buckle Up Coalition with the hope to set up the Seatbelts Are For Everyone program in all Kansas high schools.
