New Sound System
Launch the media gallery 1 playerRock Hills Jr/Sr High School stadium and field has a new and updated sound system. This system was funded in part by a grant from the Dane G. Hansen fund of the Jewell County Community Foundation and funds from USD 107. The system was installed by Pierce Electronics. Rock Hills students enrolled in a writing course offered by Mrs. Walker identified a need and prepared a grant proposal to the Jewell County Foundation. Since 2018, the Jewell County Community Foundation has built stronger communities and helped donors make a difference through charitable giving in Jewell County. Each year, the foundation distributes thousands of dollars back to our region through community grants. The installation of the new sound system will help people of all ages and hearing abilities to watch and fully enjoy events held at Rock Hills.
