New Grizzly Mural
Rock Hills Jr/Sr High School has a new grizzly mural in the commons area. This mural was funded by a grant from the Jewell County Community Foundation and painted by Daniel Reid. Rock Hills students enrolled in a writing course offered by Mrs. Walker identified a need and wrote and prepared a grant proposal to the Jewell County Foundation. Since 2018, the Jewell County Community Foundation has built stronger communities and helped donors make a difference through charitable giving in Jewell County. Each year, the foundation distributes thousands of dollars back to our region through community grants. As individuals enter Rock Hills Jr/Sr High School, the new grizzly bear mural is now one of the first visuals that they see.
